GP produces a wide range of high performance paint / ink marking systems for hot and cold metal products (up to 1100 °C), able to satisfy the most demanding requirements in terms of good readability, fast marking, reliability, limited maintenance.
This system marks characters on the surface of hot
products (typically blooms, billets and beam blanks),
defined by a bright, white dot matrix (basically 7 or 12
dots) obtained by spraying a special paint by a spray
nozzle handled by a six axes robot or by a
electromechanical manipulator. Basically this solution
is suitable applicable to the mark on the side or top of
the products (even “on fly” passage).
The markings are very well readable, even in
presence of irregular surfaces, also from distance. The
system assures excellent reliability and very low
operational costs.
A water base paint can be used reducing
environmental impact.
A good resistance in outdoor conditions assures
a long storage in the stockyard.
The fast marking cycle makes easier following
up a fast billet production rate both in a cooling
bed installation and in an evacuation line
